A hotel that gives you
mountains
The 'Bett & Berg' is a hotel that doesn't necessarily look like a hotel. Because it tells a story that is closely interwoven with the Katrin as a skiing and climbing mountain. The architecture has all the more character. The facade quotes the rocky structure of the mountain and the changing colours of the seasons. Not a quote, however, is the via ferrata at the front of the building. Which is why you shouldn't be surprised if you see one or two guests hanging out there when you arrive.

At 'Bett & Berg' you can not only check in around the clock. You will feel at home in your room, flat and living room for just as long. Simply because we have saved on the price, but not on the comfort and quality of the furnishings. Not to mention our flair for design. Enjoy warm colours and modern aesthetics with a dash of retro as a small reference to our sister company, the Katrin cable car.
10 enchanting rooms
No two mountains in the Salzkammergut are the same. The same applies to our ten rooms. This is also a reason why we have named each one after one of the surrounding peaks. Between 15 and 26m² in size, they offer all comforts at the same high level. For example, box spring beds with the legendary Joka mattresses as well as with the panorama of the surrounding mountains as the headboard. Furthermore, they convince with stylish real wood furniture and bright make-up mirrors. Each room also has a balcony or its own terrace. In the "Zimnitz room" you can even see the gondolas pass by your window from your bed.

Our two apartments "Dachstein" and "Wildenstein" are the best choice for you if you are travelling with friends or family. Top equipped with everything you really need for your holiday, they offer generous space for up to 6 people. The Wildenstein apartment even has two floors. In addition, a balcony with a view of the mountains and forests around Bad Ischl awaits you, as well as a top modern kitchen with Nespresso machine. 'Bett & Berg' is a pure holiday where you don't have to miss anything. Not even socialising. You can experience this in our living room, where you can meet to cook, eat and chat. But you don't have to. Either way, with its well-equipped communal kitchen and cosy upholstered furniture, it offers you a perfect ambience to enjoy in your own individual way.

Self-Check-in
With our self-check-in machine in the foyer, you can check in at any time between 2:30 and 9:00 pm. It explains step by step what you have to do upon arrival.
Rooms are always ready for occupancy from 14:30. Please depart by 10:00 am at the latest. Other arrival/departure times are technically not possible.
Check-in
Enter your reservation number and after a few steps and payment by debit or credit card you will receive your room card.
Room card
Only with your room card can you call the lift and enter the hotel.

You can cancel free of charge by email up to 14 days before arrival. If canceled up to 7 days before arrival, 50% of the total price will be charged. Later cancelations will be charged at 100%.

Pets (no matter what size) are not allowed in the Bett&Berg.

Whether you are planning a sporty holiday or a relaxed family holiday, at 'Bett & Berg' you will enjoy a few extra features that are absolutely remarkable for a 24/7 check-in hotel:
Climbing hall
In your accommodation there is a climbing hall with a self-securer and a 135m long indoor/outdoor via ferrata. The via ferrata is 135m long and is located in the staircase and outside the building on its front.
Attention: There is no climbing equipment for rent on site!
Opening hours: Daily from 09:00 - 21:00
Video-monitored bike and ski room
A locked, video-monitored bike room with e-bike charging and washing station is located directly at the main entrance.
Giant swing
Just outside, in the garden of the 'Bett & Berg', there is a really big swing. A real experience for in between. Not only for children, but for everyone who is young at heart.
Parking
You can park your car in a large car park in front of the 'Bett & Berg'. One free parking space is reserved for you per booked room.
